Watch the In Search of Dudley Dumpling episode 1 recap! When you hear the name Dudley Dumpling, what do you think? If you were to ask people on the street who Dudley Dumpling is, most people wouldn’t know who you were talking about. This is sad, because the Dudley Dumpling video is one of the best Christian-themed shows ever produced. Dudley Dumpling is a children’s themed show combining puppets and human actors. Local radio producer Floyd Bonzo tells the radio’s reporters about the ratings falling at the station and needing something to raise ratings, or else they will be taken off the air. Floyd tells them they received a letter from an anonymous listener about a boy named Dudley Dumpling who found the secret to true joy. Floyd tells his reporters to find Dudley Dumpling, and bring him to the station so he can tell everyone his secret, and then the ratings should rise. As the team looks and the story progresses, they don’t find Dudley, but many people that know him. They reveal that Dudley Dumpling didn’t start out as a great guy, but something changed in him and now he is a much better person and has true joy! But time is running out! Can they find the actual Dudley Dumpling before the radio station is closed? You’ll have to watch and find out! Dudley Dumpling is truly a classic. It’s got a good combination great writing, humor, and a clear gospel message! This movie teaches how people can grow as a Christian, and it’s done great and it weaves into the story very well! This truly is something everyone should check out! And even though the show is aimed at children, it’s something that everyone can enjoy! This movie was made in the 1980’s, so the camera, clothes, and locations are retro, but that doesn’t take away from the show. It’s still awesome! All in all, be sure to check out Dudley Dumpling!
