THE PRETENDER |
The Pretender is a high school drama about a guy who has tricked girls in the past by pretending to be interested in the same thing the girl is. So, when he sets his eyes on a Christian girl, he figures he can pretend to become a Christian to get her. Will it work out the way it planned?
Unfortunatly in churches today, people say Christian words and other catch phrases about God, but they aren't saved. A lot of pastors and leaders and trying to trick people. They're pretending to be Christians for one reason or another.
The Pretender is produced by the same people who brought us many other great Christian-themed movies including Second Glance and Time Changer. The Pretender is a fantastic movie and really shows that just saying Christian-themed jargon and doing "Godly things" doesn't make you a real Christian.
You really need to see this movie! It's written well and it really teaches you something!
